World-renowned master ceramist and prosthodontist Dr. Robert Winter personally trains each of our technicians to see restorative dentistry through the eyes of both the practitioner and the technician.
We create true partnerships with our clients, becoming an extension of their practices, collaborating with them to achieve superlative fit, form and function on every case. Our ultimate aim: to create the best results for our doctors – and even more importantly – their patients.
The Winter Laboratory is located in Irvine, Calif. We celebrate the beauty and creativity of our community into our working environment, and integrate that artistry in the work we do for our clients.
The Winter Laboratory offers a two-year Master Dental Technician in Esthetics program to qualified applicants. Students will pursue a course of study that consists of seven main subjects taught simultaneously over a 24-month period of study.
With each course building on the previous, and the knowledge base they have established in their position(s) as a dental laboratory technician, students will be able to develop advanced-level technological and theoretical skills. They will master the concepts and manual expertise necessary for them to function as an integral and contributing member or technical leader, of the dental team. Their objective will be to produce the highest quality end result for the patient, however complicated their treatment plan.
Students will be exposed to cutting-edge philosophies and learn state-of-the-art techniques, but even more important, they will be able to realize their full potential as a master dental technician.
This program was developed to educate and mentor only a few students at a time in a very intense learning environment. The instructors, all of whom are leaders in dentistry and dental technology, will hold students to the highest standards of excellence.
This is a unique and ultimate opportunity for an emerging dental talent, with exposure to clinicians and experiences they would be unable to experience anywhere else in the world.
Students will be chosen because of their exceptional talent, strong desire to learn, and the great potential they have demonstrated in their current position.
Interested applicants should submit a cover letter describing why they are interested in attending the program along with a resume detailing their work and training experience to Dr. Robert Winter at firstname.lastname@example.org. Qualified candidates will be required to travel to The Winter Laboratory for a personal and working interview.
